The week I got back from Brazil, I received a call from the country's biggest newspaper, the Estadão (or the "Big State") to take some portraits of the folks at an exciting Brazilian start-up here in San Francisco. BTCJam is a platform to make peer-to-peer loans using BitCoin. They allow global borrowers to sidestep often exorbitant foreign personal loan rates and offer attractive returns to lenders. Sounds like a win-win to me. As usual, I had a blast meeting the folks at BTCJam and shooting some nice individual and group portraits using a mix of natural and artificial light - my speciality!
